The Promise Neighborhood Initiative (PNI) Project Coordinator provides a wide variety of program, project and administrative support for the Promise Neighborhood Initiative (PNI) at Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI). Including but not limited to providing support on ensuring effective planning and implementation of enhancing and expanding SEI’s Whole School Model in the Albina (N/NE Portland) and Rockwood (East County) neighborhoods. The PNI is funded by the Department of Education through June 30, 2023. This position involves working closely with schools and community partners across Multnomah County. This position reports to the Director of Promise Neighborhood Initiative.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Provides administrative and program support to Promise Neighborhood Initiative including, but not limited to assisting with process and system development for expanding the Whole School Model to be inclusive of the cradle to career spectrum
•Assist department leaders in developing processes, procedures, templates and other tools to accurately and efficiently monitor progress toward goals and compliance
•Attends meetings with key partners, staff and other stake holders and reports back as needed
•Assist with calendar management, and meeting scheduling and preparation
•Assists in the preparation of major reports, marketing and presentation materials
•Ensures inter-department and community partners notifications and information are appropriately shared and distributed.
•Assist with coordination, preparation and facilitation of trainings, workshops, classes, and events
•Performs other administrative duties and special project functions as assigned
•Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or a related field highly preferred.
•Minimum three years of experience in a related field
•Must have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people of varying social, economic, education levels and different cultures.
•Must have excellent problem solving skills.
•Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions, rules and procedures; to work independently and to be a vital and contributing part of a team.
•Process development and continuous program improvement experience highly desired.
•Experience in social services environments.
•Must have excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
•Ability to handle multiple deadlines with varying timelines.
•Advanced computer skills to include the entire Microsoft Office Suite, Google
•Excellent writing skills to include proper grammar, report writing/formatting, proofreading and editing.
