Are you looking for a resident-manager position close to Downtown? C&R Real Estate Services Co. is seeking a Monday-Friday, part-time 20+ flexible hours per week Resident Property Manager for The Watergate Apartments, a 28 unit community located in SW Portland in the Lair Hill Neighborhood, not far from PSU. You must have a minimum TWO YEARS of experience in the field of Property Management to be considered for this position. If you are interested in more than 20 hours per week, we will try to find you work at another property as well.
Our manager receives 40% off rent, which currently means $498 per month for a ONE-BEDROOM with an AIR CONDITIONER!
The Property Manager is responsible for all aspects of leasing apartments, grounds keeping, readying units to rent, and common area cleaning. This individual is required to live onsite in a one-bedroom apartment for this position and will receive a 40% discount on market rent!!! And pets are allowed! There is a manager's office that is separate from the living quarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES and ABILITIES
The Property Manager is responsible for showing units and screening prospective residents; collection and tracking of payments; placing Craigslist ads and entering data into the computer; preparation of paperwork and notices; maintaining files, records, grounds and common areas. Developing and sustaining courteous relations with residents and vendors is essential to this position. The Property Manager is required to live onsite with a 40% discount on rent!
