"Bear" came to us from the streets of Tijauna, Mexico a couple months ago. He is a sweet and cuddlely Boxer/Pit mix. He is currently being fostered in Santa Monica by my good friend Sara. Sara thinks he's more of a "George", but I like Bear because he like to hibernate on the couch so much! He needs a new foster starting April 14th, or preferable a forever home. Bear is about 4 years old and loves to play in the yard, take naps on the couch, go for long walks and play at the dog park. He takes food and treats very gently and is cool with being home alone. Until Sara began fostering him a week ago, he'd been at a kennel for two months in LA :(
Bear is a loving, sweet and a total snuggle bug. He's potty-trained, has a great temperament, and is really looking forward to finding his forever family! ❤️ At this point we don't really know if Bear gets along well with cats or not, so we are thinking it would be best to try and place him in a home that is cat free. Also, I think he would be great with kids, but we don't have direct experience with him and kids yet, so it also might be best (for now) if we try to place him in his next foster/forever home with out kids. He's had a little cough, but is responding well to antibiotics and as soon as he's fully recovered he will be getting neutered and having his teeth cleaned. Which will only make his smile more adorable If you are interested in fostering or adopting Bear, please contact me via email and I can talk to you more about Bear and the process to foster or adopt him.
All fostered or adopted dogs are neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. There is a tax deductible donation (typically $200) for adopted dogs. If you are fostering, we will cover all food and any medical costs.
