Now I call Portland on it's lies about sustainability. On the typical 5000 sq. ft. lot where a single house is occupied by 2-3 inhabitants, changing to rodent style housing with now 8-10 folks on the same site Portland wants you to believe the energy bills will be less. This is a lie. Water use will increase, electrical use will increase, erosion will increase, less garden space will be available, unless committed to walking or biking transport will be needed, large buildings block the sun and wind making the city less healthy driving up medical bills." Make society work for you"- get a problem unsolvable and juice the public to pay for it, as always some manifestation of stolen land and slavery. Their stealing part of what you paid for in your 5,000 sq, ft. lot and enslaving you to pay for a goal that will never be reached. While your neighborhood goes down the tube, some bloodthirsty, creep politician will tell ya what a heroic stand your making in trying to survive while they are jetting out to a "green shangrila".
