We're searching for a full-time Residential Manager for a beautiful 51-unit apartment community in SE Portland, Oregon. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The daily schedule is flexible. You will be eligible for medical benefits the 1st day of the month following 60 days of continuous employment.
The Residential Manager is required to live onsite in a 3-bedroom + DEN, 2-bathroom house, with your office conveniently located in the entry area. There is a 25% rent discount each month, a 25% discount on a garage rental, and electric, water, sewer and gas are comped.
The Residential Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of this amazing property including marketing, maintaining property integrity, conducting tours, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports and preparing agreements, managing vendors, repairs and vacancy turnovers, and maintaining confidential files. The Residential Manager is responsible for ensuring that the grounds and common areas look their best!
The successful candidate MUST have GREAT customer service skills, be punctual and detail oriented, and maintain courteous relationships with residents and vendors.
• Prior property management is preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Excellent marketing skills in order to competitively market the property.
• Outstanding and demonstrated customer service skills.
• Computer proficient and able to learn new company software.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance, painting, landscaping, and cleaning techniques including product use.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, strong active listening skills, and ability to understand and meet the needs of residents.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices.
