We're searching for an Community Manager for beautiful BRAND NEW Apartments Community in NW Portland, 128 beautiful Units to lease out. LEASE UP EXPERIENCE is required. Be part of the team that manages cutting edge amenities, meticulously-groomed grounds, and a dedicated staff contributes to a higher standard of living. The Community manager will work Tuesday through Saturday, F/T 40 hours per-week. Weekend is a must! This position is eligible for health insurance the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

The Community Manager is not required to live onsite, but if they choose to they will receive a 20% rent discount on a Studio, 1 or 2 bedroom apartment! Our Community Manager is responsible for all aspects of leasing apartments, and ensuring that the grounds and common areas look their best.

The Community Manager is responsible for showing units, screening prospective residents, collection and tracking of payments, preparation of paperwork, notices and reports; maintaining files and records, as well as grounds and common areas. Maintaining courteous relations with residents and vendors is essential to this position. An ability to supervise another team member is key.

- Tour prospective tenants
- Lease units
- Oversee landscaper and assist with grounds clean up as needed
- Responsible for renewal paperwork, leases, reports and other documents
- Marketing vacancies
- Scheduling vendors, turn overs and repairs
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer knowledge
- Property management industry experience required
- Supervisory and team leadership skills (This position supervises a Maintenance Technician & a Leasing Agent)

Any of the following are a BIG PLUS:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience with AMSI or YARDI

Lease up experience is required. The Community Manager must have great customer service skills and be punctual and detail oriented and must also have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and be self motivated and energetic. Our Community Manager should also possess the ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail, and applicant must be able to pass a skills test, and if offered the position they must be able to pass a background investigation including criminal history. Previous experience in the field of property management required.
