"Upon graduating college in 2014 with a B.S. degree in Audio Engineering, he relocated to the West Coast and began working as a sound engineer immediately. Eventually more work came in the ways of sound design for theater and podcasts.
He was the recipient of the Spotlight Award at the 2016 Drammys and a 2018 PAMTA Outstanding Sound Award nominee. He has worked as Sound Designer and Engineer in many Portland Theaters, most notably, Artist Repertory Theater, Portland Center Stage, The Newmark Theater and The Northwest Children's Theater and School. In the summer of 2017, Jake travelled to the Outer Banks in North Carolina to be the Chief Audio Engineer for the 80th anniversary season of the Tony Award winning outdoor drama, The Lost Colony.

Some clients include BBC radio, Nike, National Park Service and Oregon College of Art, and Music Together of Portland."
