I believe my greatest strength is patience and the ability to connect/understand children from their prospective. When behaviors start to go sour it does not mean "children are being bad" it simply means they are tired, hungry, anxious, needs aren't being met, not knowing what positive attention looks like, etc. It is up to us adults to take a step back and not be so quick to react, but rather take a breath & nurture our children first.
I started out my college career studying Early Childhood Education for Kids w/Special Needs, I graduated with a bachelors in Psychology in 2017. In addition to that I was a preschool lead teacher for 4 years, spent a year in beautiful Australia as a live-in nanny, taught a nutrition/cooking course for school-aged children k-4th grade, worked at two after-school programs, multiple babysitting gigs with babies as young as 5 months old, an I currently work with prenatal moms and families with young children as an Infant/Toddler Home Visitor with a caseload of 9-10 kiddos. All that sums up to 6+ years of experience.
I have a resume and 3 reference that I would be happy to share to whom is seriously interested!
