Nonprofit thrift store looking for retail space

We are The Portland Free Store Project, a small, grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift store. Our mission is to build community, reduce waste, and give access to essentials.
Through our free store, everything is given freely, no cost, no barriers. It’s a space rooted in dignity, care, and community support.
Since starting in 2024, we’ve grown through pop-ups and were incredibly lucky to be gifted a temporary retail space for a few months. Because of that amazing support, we’ve been able to serve so many people and now we’re hoping to find a place to call home.
We are fully volunteer-run and operate on a very limited budget. We are hoping to connect with a landlord or business owner who believes in community impact and might be open to working with a nonprofit or to find a shared space at a reduced cost.
We’re looking for a shared space, retail or storefront space where we can continue this work and expand access for the community.
