$750 Queer Friendly Roomates wanted!750$ or 1150 w priv bath, shared offic (Sellwood)

What we’ve been doing up till now is splitting the rent with another couple, and sharing the third bedroom as a shared office space. If you/(a partner) would like to continue that arrangement, the rent would be 1150$+~50/month electricity (all other utilities including internet are part of rent) for your bedroom, private bathroom, and shared usage of the office room. We’re also okay to do the individual rooms for 750+electricity each if that’s preferred!
It’s a third story walkup near downtown Milwaukie, right next to the border with Sellwood. The apartment is gorgeous with a ton of natural light, a huge kitchen, tons of storage space, in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, AC in the living room, and a pool that’s open during the warmer months! It’s in an apartment complex called Waverley Greens, and they are no joke the nicest landlords I have ever heard of, much less had. They’re really really nice and helpful and believe in things like preventative maintenance it’s crazy. We’re right next to the 70 bus, and a 10-15 minute walk away from the MAX orange line. Good amount of restaurants in walking distance and a ton within a short drive, and a gorgeous walk along the river about five minutes walk away from the apartment.
We are two trans women in our mid-late twenties. Elle is a full time graduate student/teaching assistant, and Beatrice is currently between jobs. We’re friendly, fairly quiet (like we’ll have a couple people over to watch a movie or have dinner, but no parties or anything), and both huge nerds! Elle loves to bake and would be delighted to have new people to feed.We also have Eevee, a 3 year old Coton de Tulear who is the cutest dog in the universe and loves to cuddle. He’s also hypo-allergenic!
Cleanliness wise, we generally try to keep the place pretty clean, but we’re not anal about it. Sometimes the dishes don’t get done because you’re having a shitty night, it’s not a big deal. My general philosophy is that the apartment should stay within a 30 minute cleaning sesh of being clean, so things never build up too badly! The really important thing is that everyone can communicate their feelings in a productive way 🙂
We’re looking for, first and foremost, queer or queer friendly folks who are good communicators! Ideally, folks in our general age range with shared interests who are interested in making new friends would be rad (it’d be awesome to have a roommate board game group!) but definitely not required.
The other hard requirements are 1. No smokers. Elle has asthma that’s really reactive to smoke and smoke residue. Occasional marijuana smoking is usually okay, as long as it takes place away from the apartment. 2. No cats, unless they are hypoallergenic. We love cats, but Beatrice is allergic 🙁
Other pets are welcome as long as they’re okay with a dog, with I believe 500$ pet deposit (waived for ESA’s ofc)
