One position is available. Shift assignments are based on seniority and has potential to change every 6 months due to shift bidding, per bargain agreement (Example: an employee may start out on Day Shift, but can end up on a different shift as a result).
The Facility Security Agent provides physical security, safety services and customer service at the Oregon Convention Center and other Metro Visitor Venues, including the Portland'5 Centers for the Performing Arts and the Expo Center.

High school diploma or GED, and one year of responsible experience in providing security for a large facility; or any combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. Note: A physical assessment, which simulates the essential job tasks for this position, will be administered to all applicant "finalists" for any Security Agent position. Offers of hire will be made contingent upon successful results of the assessment.
