The North Face Extreme LIGHT is the best jacket for skiing & snowboarding in mild weather but has the extra zippers for a liner. There is a powder proof "skirt" inside which can be velcroed and/or buttoned. The powder "skirt" works great, I've skiied in three feet of powder and had no leaks. There are 8 pockets including a huge cargo net inside. There is a trail-map pocket on the left sleeve, six pockets on the front two of which are for your hands and four cargo pockets. There is a glove loop in the bottom right pocket and a lift ticket loop just above the bottom left pocket. I have had no problems with this jacket and have been extremely happy with its performance.
