Solar-Powered Tiny house trailer with Battery and Diesel Backup - $19,000 (Portland, OR)

This trailer was custom-built for powering stages at music festivals, although it could be used to power other things. There was over $85k in materials and customization invested into creating this trailer and it was only used twice in the summer of 2019 before the summer of 2020 hit and has not been used since and is being sold as-is.

The housing was custom-built on top of a Summit Trailer Manufacturing 19'x7' trailer. The housing is 8' tall. There is a 4'x7' porch at the back end of the trailer, covered with a solar panel. The interior walls are insulated with rigid foam boards and then covered with paneling. The paneling is not completed to the ceiling or in the generator room. The trailer comes with material to finish the paneling.

SOLAR
-The 5 kW solar array uses (10) Sunpreme Maxima GxB-500 panels with bifacial technology, which allows it to generate power from both the front and back faces of the module, resulting in up to 20% higher energy harvest compared to traditional panels.
-There are (4) of the panels that make the roof and (3) panels on each side of the trailer for a total of (10), each 500W. The panels on the sides are part of an awning that can be pulled out when being in use and tucked away flush with the trailer outer wall when transporting. Like two wings.
**The mechanism to hold the frameless panels to the awning structure failed to hold the panels and they slid down during transport. Two of the solar panels have cracks in the glass but the solar cells themselves appear undamaged. Either a new solution to how to secure these to the awning frame or removing the panels will need to be done.
-The inverter/charge controller for the array is a Schneider Conext as seen in the pictures and has had minimal runtime, like the generator.
GENERATOR
The diesel generator is rated at 20 kW. It has been run for ~100 hours in its life. There is a custom integrated tank built into the trailer underneath the porch that can store extra fuel. See pictures for generator, autostart, alternator and solar integrated pieces for more details.
BATTERY BANK
There are (42) 3.7V 100Ah lithium ion batteries integrated into the power system.
