Took apart my organic cotton and wool mattress. This wire and twine mesh was in between the springs and the wool batting. The twine strips seem like very thick paper.
I cut a piece to hang a picture on, but I have a lot left. The largest pieces are about 6' x 4', and then there are some smaller pieces. I've picked most of the wool off. Some of the twine strips are broken, a few of the wire pieces are broken, but most wire is intact, so you could probably re-attach the twine to firm up the shape.
Just thought it was cool and might be good for some type of art or other project.
