Job Description and Responsibilities :
Job Summary: The Scoping Data Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and development of project tools and databases, performing analyses on project data, and providing reports and recommendations to personnel involved in the project. This position performs analyses across 5 focus areas: forecast, cost, trend, risk, and data integrity as it relates to our current portfolio/programs/project set on our AT&T Turf contract. Provides analyses, reporting, and recommendations on the forecast logic, cost, trends, and risks with the portfolio and programs to the operational teams, program leaders, Director(s) & senior leadership.
Maintain and develop project tools and database using Microsoft Excel VBA & SQL Server
Interact with end users of project tools for troubleshooting and development
Perform analysis on portfolio and program production and cost data including but not limited to; cycle times, forecasting accuracy, scheduling logic, data integrity and financial performance
Identify risks and issues across the 5 areas of focus and make recommendations to improve profitability and overall performance
Identify reporting and production issues, and recommend improvements
Work with project teams, and business leaders to identify analytical requirements to design, develop, implement, and maintain custom reports
Extract and analyze data, patterns, and related trends and subsequently synthesize the data into consumable information

Associates Degree in Computer Science; or 3-5 year related experience and/or training or equivalent experience in an IT related position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-2 years of experience in data entry, data management, and data analysis
Computer and Microsoft Office Proficiency
1-2 years of years of experience in Oracle database programming and data manipulation
1-2 years of experience in MS Excel VBA Scripting and data manipulation
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines
Innovative problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail
Ability to translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audience
Excellent typing, data entry and scheduling skills
Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment testing (MVR, drug and background)
Must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements
Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
