These Indonesian batiks are hand made fabrics - all designed/created by owner and internationally known designer, Princess Mirah of Bali. The princess grew up in the palace of Karangasem, built by her grandfather, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, the last Raja.
He was the last reigning ruler in Bali. He was considered the "Raja di Raja," or king of kings, as he had jurisdiction over eight regions in Bali even after the Dutch had annexed Indonesia.
