1908 Loheide Wizard Clock. This is a gambling trade stimulator that would be found on cigar store counters. Insert a nickel and it would reward you with one to three free cigar tokens.
These were made by several companies including Progressive Manufacturing. They would usually modify a Waterbury mantle clock, eliminating the chime mechanism and substituting a token mechanism.
This example is in nice original condition. The marquee is the only new part. The token mechanism works perfect, but the clock does not stay running. You wind it and then you have to manually start the motion.
