This is a nice vintage glass globe from Italy.

It is rather translucent towards the top and then fades to clear glass towards the bottom and has that amber center.

This is probably from the 1960's-70's.

Not a heavy piece of glass, just gorgeous and delicate and well constructed.

The opening is about 4.25" wide and is tapered so the mounting part for a ceiling lamp would accommodate the holding screws. The diameter is about 31"
