I bought a few of these old jars that have these cool handwritten labels.

I was told these were from the OHSU Pharmacy up on the hill and when the pharmacy relocated to the waterfront, these were not needed.

When I googled what was in this bottle, I learned this: Tartaric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid, commonly found in fruits like grapes, bananas, and tamarinds.

The ground stopper on this is in good condition and it lifts from the jar easily.

This is about 8" tall.
