Position Overview:
Priority Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent capable of managing projects from start to finish. This individual will take full ownership of daily field operations, production, safety, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and communication with cities and inspectors.
We are looking for someone who can independently run horizontal and vertical construction projects and maintain control over execution, quality, and schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee daily field operations and crew coordination
Manage production rates and equipment allocation
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
Communicate directly with city officials and engineers
Monitor and enforce quality control; ensure installation per plans and specifications
Schedule and coordinate inspections; correct deficiencies as needed
Lead jobsite safety, conduct safety meetings, and ensure OSHA & L&I compliance
Manage incident reporting and resolution
Maintain firm scheduling and daily work planning
Coordinate site logistics including material deliveries, traffic control, and staging
Provide consistent progress updates to management
Required Experience (Horizontal Construction):
Subdivisions and apartment site development
Right-of-way improvements
Sewer, water, and storm utility installation
Electrical trenching and underground utility coordination
Grading, sidewalk, curb & gutter
Asphalt paving
Storm detention ponds and stormwater facilities
Complete on-site and off-site infrastructure work
Preferred Additional Experience (Vertical Construction):
Multifamily projects
Single-family residential
Commercial / warehouse construction
Coordination between civil and vertical scopes
What We’re Looking For:
Proven leadership managing projects independently from mobilization through completion
Strong communication skills with cities, inspectors, and subcontractors
Ability to manage multiple crews and maintain production control
High attention to detail and accountability
Strong understanding of scheduling and construction sequencing
Ownership mindset and problem-solving ability
