Empowerment and inspiration are what motivates the hard work it takes to be a great musician. I cater to my students' learning styles and interests - prioritizing individualism and fun in every lesson! If you are a hobbyist looking to have a good time, welcome! If you are a dedicated musician looking to get to the next level, welcome! Wherever you are on your journey, I am glad you are playing music and would love to meet you.
I am great with beginners and aspiring professionals. I have successfully prepared many musicians for college, and for careers in the music industry. Throughout the school year I work as a percussion and jazz specialist/clinician at many schools, and adjudicate middle and high school Jazz band competitions. I come highly recommended by many local band teachers in the Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Sherwood school districts.
