Hello neighbors. I am seeking a job or gigs that keep me outdoors and active while pursuing some academic goals. I do also have some office and service industry experience including computer skills, social media marketing, web development, POS/counter work, and would consider interesting “indoorsy” opportunities.

My area of most expertise is aerial tree work, including aesthetic maintenance and removals (ample experience with crane removals). I have experience as a foreman. In such a capacity I do come with my own saws, PPE, light rigging, and climbing gear for both spur and spurless work. I absolutely love tree work and enjoy climbing but am transitioning out of full time climbing and am not interested in doing it exclusively, though it remains on the table as a set of skills available under the right circumstances.

Further work experience includes general construction with an emphasis on finish carpentry, stone masonry, and a modest background in timber framing.

I have ridden and worked around horses since childhood. My background in the equine industry ranges from training level dressage to rodeo rough stock, as well as grooming and farm maintenance/management. Do not be deterred by my rodeo experience! I am a gentle and patient handler. Other agricultural experience includes bison wrangling, sheep stewardship, and basic dirt farming.

I happily maintain a healthy lifestyle and am drug/alcohol free. My drivers license is valid, with a clean record, and I own a reliable vehicle. Said vehicle is a new car, not suitable for material transportation, but tentatively available for other work related tasks.

My personal hobbies include cooking, hiking, running, and I am currently drafting a book about a decade spent traveling the USA as a freelance professional ultra runner. My claim to fame is a 2015 transcontinental run from CA-NY, and 2018 from Mexico to Canada. Happy to provide verifying info upon request.
