Hello! I am an electrical apprentice with significant experience within the residential, commercial, solar, and industrial sectors and I am extremely eager to work for a cutting-edge contractor in the PNW!
I received acceptance into the Area 1 Inside Electrical program in Portland, OR and I have been added to the "Ready-for-Hire" list. I have seen many aspects of the industry and my aptitude best fits the commercial and industrial applications where organization, and a mathematical/engineering mindset can be best utilized. That being said, I am quite competent in the residential aspect of the trade. My time in residential, working both new construction and remodels of all sorts, gives me a leg-up in the applicant pool.
I have applied my talents to a number of amazing sites including Intel, Nike, Maxim Integrated, and a variety of unbelievable buildings, factories and facilities throughout the Portland Metro area. Regardless of the scale of the job, I will put maximal effort into any project I engage with to ensure the satisfaction of both my employer and the customer.
It is incredibly important to note that I care deeply about the work that I do and I am especially concerned with making a positive impact in the world. To that end, I value cleanliness and organization, and it is a personal mission to improve the circumstances of any community I am part of. I spend approximately 15+ hours per week engaged in voluntary community service in my community, where I work to ensure that the neighborhood is a safe, clean and inviting space for everyone. I aim to make the world a better place and I want to bring that same positive and healthy attitude to work. Additionally, I am sober/substance-free and I strongly value physical fitness and mental health.
JATC has added my name to the "Ready-for-Hire" list and will be formally distributing this list to JATC contractors, however, I would very much like to get my foot in the door and establish a relationship with a company that values its employees and its customers, where the combined ethic, healthy environment and a sense of community leads to both job satisfaction and efficient installation.
I will be re-entering the inside electrical apprenticeship in the 4th year at pay period 7, reflecting the hours and experience I have accumulated. If you have an opening for an apprentice, or anticipate an opening at any time within the next few months, please feel free to respond to me via phone or email at your convenience. I would be happy to furnish a cover letter and resume for your consideration.
