We are seeking a Business Developer to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth for our Tigard branch. This is a hunter-style B2B sales role focused on selling staffing and workforce solutions. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, competitive, and thrives on networking and closing new business.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through B2B sales, prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals
Sell staffing services including temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
Develop relationships with HR managers, operations leaders, plant managers, and business owners
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution
Partner with recruiters to deliver staffing solutions to clients
Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and industry events in the Washington County market
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM software
Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of B2B sales, business development, or staffing sales experience
Experience in staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or professional services preferred
Strong cold calling, prospecting, and closing skills
Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Competitive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience:
Staffing agency or recruiting industry background
Selling to manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, logistics, or professional services clients
Local market knowledge
