Bought this several years ago and only used it when I started it and ran it for awhile to make sure that it would start when/if it was needed.
No power outages of any significance occurred since then and total run time is a handful of hours. Always used ethanol free gas.
We got a small travel trailer and in anticipation of using a generator while dry camping we got a Honda as they're advertised as the quietest on the market.
It is quieter than the Champion but not much. In hindsight the Honda might not have been the wisest purchase.
Anyway the Champion is for sale. Got it for around $500 a few years ago at Costco, asking $300.
