General Contractor is looking for one skilled Remodeling Carpenter to help knock out an overwhelming schedule of work. The company runs a small crew and things are going great. Looking to add another Carpenter to work with the crew as a team, or branch out to tackle other scopes of the project. We have a great clientele with a lot of work ranging from Full House Remodels, Decks, Additions, Basements, Kitchens, Tiny Houses, Off-Grid Cabins, Wood Shop work, etc. The ideal candidate would have:
A good set of professional tools
A work truck
Great organizational skills
The ability to work at a profitable and safe pace
A youthful outlook on life
A lot of knowledge and skills, but doesn't know everything
A couple of good jokes, but doesn't talk all day
The ability to let someone else quarterback the project, and take direction as to process
The discipline to get to work on time
A manageable commute to the Hillsboro area
Additionally, but not necessary, someone who can set tile and cabinets professionally and efficiently would round out the crew's skill set nicely.
If this post speaks to you, please respond with a brief history of work experience, area you're commuting from, explanation of tools and transportation, pictures of previous work, what kind of money you need to make, a little bit about yourself, and some contact info. A lot of the work is in the country: West of Portland, North of Hillsboro, not quite North Plains. This is a really good opportunity for the right person. It's work instead of just a job, and to us, there's a difference. I've been told by subs, clients, and other contractors that my projects are really fun to be a part of. I like working with interesting and inspiring people and I always seem to attract cool, creative work, so shoot me an email that stands out! Looking forward to hearing from you!
