Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Superintendent to lead our expanding field operations. With 30 technicians ranging from journeymen and certified apprentices to laborers, we are ready for the right addition to help take our operations to the next level.
We specialize in private, state, and federal projects, including new construction, tenant improvements, hotel and condo repipes and renovations, fire suppression, restaurants, tilt-ups, and more. Our project backlog is strong, and our growth potential is even stronger with the right person leading our field operations and driving results.
This role requires a hands-on leader who excels at scheduling and coordinating crews across multiple projects. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent 40-hour workweeks for the crew while meeting tight deadlines and keeping projects on track. The ideal candidate can confidently interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and code requirements; manage RFIs and responses; and maintain clear communication with project superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and contractors.
Candidates must also be tech savvy and comfortable using digital tools, software, mobile devices, email, and project management platforms to support daily field operations, documentation, communication, and scheduling.
While we do not operate a 24/7 on-call service, some projects may require night work, so flexibility is important.
Important: You will be required to obtain a Hawaii Journeyman Plumbing License within 6 months of hire. This role also includes calling in inspections for all projects and coordinating directly with inspectors and contractors.
