Our forklift operator role is expected to begin when we begin receiving grapes, around mid-September, and continue for the period of time we are receiving fruit, usually around 6 weeks, depending on the season. Of paramount importance, is that you can accept a flexible schedule, which will almost certainly include long hours, overtime, and weekend work. You’ll also need to bring to the role the ability to stand and move for at least ten hours; to lift, bend, rotate, move and carry up to 40 pounds over the course of the shift and on a repetitive basis; and to climb stairs, ladders and work on catwalks. Prior harvest experience is always appreciated but not required. We value curious, collaborative, hard workers who thrive in a team environment and are eager to pitch in wherever needed. We hope you consider applying with us. Interested candidates are requested to submit a resume and cover letter.
