People First Employment is partnered with a local Thermal Products company and we are looking to add a Quality Control Coordinator/Assistant to join our team!
Pay- $20-$25
Schedule- Day shift 7:30am-4pm
The right candidate will be expected to understand our products and procedures, then be able to ensure that our documentation packages are assembled in accordance with the ASME Code, client specifications and internal specifications as defined in our QC Manual. The candidate should have strong attention to detail; be proficient with computers and software, data entry and review and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. They will also need to be well organized and self-motivated to meet deadlines and complete a variety of tasks to help ensure complete and accurate documentation in a dynamic atmosphere.

• Working as a part of a team with project managers, drafters, fabricators, welders, quality control inspectors, and others from concept through construction to produce high quality equipment, with high quality documentation
• Expand personal knowledge and skills as you are exposed to more facets of documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Release and control project Quality documents.
• Maintain quality records.
• Create Job Travelers from drawings.
• Control Equipment & Gages calibration schedule and documentation.
• Release and supersede Drawings.
• Release Engineering Change Orders.
• Submittal of Quality Documentation to customers.
• Log all Drawing & Engineering Change Orders released into Document Control Log.
• Issue and log National Board Numbers & Create Manufacturer’s Data Reports and submit them to The ASME National Board.
• Log in all Non-Destructive Examination reports.
• Create final Documentation Packages and submit to customers.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative or document control capacity.
• High School or equivalent education. College degree is a plus.
• Must have good organization and document presentation skills.
• Strong Proficiency with MS Office 365: Access, Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Pro-Write, MS Teams, or Smart Sheets software is a plus.
• Proficient with typing and data entry.
• Prior experience with ASME is a plus.
