We are a growing property management company with several properties in the Willamette Valley. We are looking to hire a dynamic and organized Administrative Assistant in Newberg, Oregon. The qualified candidate must be able to multi-task, should have good organizational, time management and computer skills. Team members must be self-motivated and possess the ability to handle stressful situations, while both diffusing them and making quick decisions when needed. Team members should be good at interacting with current and prospective renters.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities will include tasks such as:
• Answering office phones, directing calls/taking messages
• Advertising
• Bank Deposits
• A/R / Collections
• Basic Office Duties: opening mail, printing and scanning documents, filing, running errands, shipping, managing office supplies
• A/P: Invoice data entry
• Assist Management as needed
• Complete special projects as needed
• Light Office Cleaning
Administrative Assistant Requirements:
• Qualified Administrative Assistant candidates must have a minimum of 3-6 months of administrative work/experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree/college coursework preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and aptitude for learning new software; type at least 45 wpm; Google Apps/G Suite (Calendar, Drive, etc),
• Must have strong attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills with accuracy
• Able to handle confidential documentation with discretion
• A friendly and professional demeanor is essential for the qualified candidate
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance coverage
• Be able to pass a background and drug screen
This position requires flexibility. The ideal candidate can organize a variety of tasks in order to meet deadlines without direct supervision. Good communication skills are essential.

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with our accounting and operations staff and must fit well with our overall cohesiveness. The position will start as part-time, approximately 25 hours per week. Our business continues to grow, so this position could develop as our needs change. Pay will start at $20 - $21 per hour (DOE). Hours will be between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Working hours are somewhat flexible, which can be discussed prior to hire.
