Selling a beautiful vintage solid wood bookcase / curio cabinet with original glass-paneled doors. This is a genuinely special piece — old, well-made, and full of character.

It appears to have originally been a built-in or custom piece, and there is molding missing along the top. Rather than detract, it gives the cabinet a rustic, architectural feel that works beautifully in both modern and eclectic spaces.

Highlights:

Solid wood construction

Original paned glass doors with gorgeous molding

Old glass with natural bubbling (a hallmark of age)

Five interior shelves plus the top surface usable as a shelf

Two small drawers at the base (with locks, no key — drawers open normally)

Left door latch keeps doors closed securely

Four original metal casters on the bottom (rusted; no longer roll and act as feet)

Dimensions:

65” tall x 41” wide x 11” deep

This piece holds a surprising number of books and also works beautifully as a curio, display cabinet, or statement bookshelf.

One of my favorite pieces I’ve ever owned — selling only because of an upcoming move.
