2004 Honda VTX 1800N Spec 1 (all the flagship chrome goodies). The “N” is the neo-retro model that has a rear fender that is a copy from the super rare Honda Rune. 9300 miles. Fuel injected. Liquid cooled. Shaft drive. Linked brakes. New tires. 1/4 Mile is under 13 seconds from the factory. This huge bike is over 8’ long and has huge tires that keep it glued to the road. This bike is fast, smooth, quiet and heavy so the ride is amazing. This is a rare color, magenta metallic, that was a $100.00 option from the factory. 42-45 MPG. 12.1 second 1/4 mile (eats HD all day long). Top speed 134. 95 HP. 102 Ft. Lbs. of torque. The fifth gear is almost like an overdrive. Around town you will stay in gears 3-4 and use 5th at 70 MPH plus. Floorboards including chrome passenger Cobra floorboards. Full cover. Lockable and removable hard leather-looking hard bags. Wide beach cruiser handle bars.
Here is my story. About 15 years ago I was buying a bicycle from a man near Camas Washington. As we were talking I noticed his Honda VTX 1800 parked in his garage. He said he used it to commute from his house to downtown Portland. He said his bike had 105,000 miles and he said it still ran perfectly.
I was so impressed with his story that I started researching these 1800cc monsters. This bike is an over-engineered Honda marvel made in Japan. It has tons of chrome and polished metal and gets thumbs-up everywhere I go.
This bike is so fun to ride and handles like a much smaller bike. My wife and I ride two-up and she finds it very comfortable.
I am a senior rider who has been riding for 55 years and I take pride in ownership.
I am in no hurry to sell this and am willing to wait for the right buyer. If you know the stats of the bike or have ever ridden one then you know what an amazing bike this is.
I am ready to buy another Goldwing and that is the only reason why I am parting with this bike.
